Contacting the TU ACT

If you are seeking tenancy advice:

Call the Tenants' Advice Service on 02 6247 2011.

For free advice for all ACT tenants (whether in private, public or community housing) on tenancy matters.  We also provide advice to people in other forms of rental accommodation (in caravan parks, student accommodation as well as boarders and lodgers), now known as occupants.

This free advice service is available

 9:30am - 1pm Monday to Friday,

And

4.30 - 8pm Tuesdays only

Please be aware that demand for the Tenants' Advice Service is high and we are a small service with only two advice workers.  It may require several calls in order to get through. We suggest that mid-morning is a good time to call.  First look at our advice pages to see if they give you the information you need. Click here to go to advice pages

Also note that advice is via the phone line only, we cannot provide a drop-in service.  We are also limited to advice only and cannot provide any representation.  If you are on a low income you may be able to receive assistance from Welfare Rights and Legal Centre.
