INVITATION FOR PUBLIC SUBMISSIONS

Social housing is provided by the ACT Government through Housing ACT to low income households and those people who are unable to find appropriate accommodation in the private rental market.

The Committee is inviting submissions from groups and individuals interested in the provision of social housing in the ACT. As part of the inquiry the Committee will be considering the recent findings of the ACT Ombudsman‘s report Assessment of an Application for Priority Housing into the priority waiting list for social housing. Submissions should address at least one of the terms of reference and include your full name, postal address, email address (if possible) and telephone number. Electronic lodgement is preferred.For more details go to the Legislative Assembly website

Submissions are requested by 18 November 2011.
